A:The service life of photovoltaic brackets mainly depends on factors such as material quality, design structure, installation process and environmental conditions. Generally speaking, the service life of high-quality aluminum alloy brackets is usually over 25 years, that of galvanized steel brackets is about 20 to 25 years, and that of stainless steel brackets can exceed 30 years.
Q:What should be done if the photovoltaic bracket rusts?
A:If it is only mild rust, you can first use a steel wire brush to remove the rust, and then apply two coats of epoxy zinc-rich primer. For severely rusted components, such as those with a section loss exceeding 10%, they need to be replaced directly. After replacement, the entire part should be sprayed with fluorocarbon paint. In coastal areas, an additional sealant coat is also required.
